Questions
- Do I need an account to try it?
- No. This demo runs entirely in your browser: no sign-up, no email and nothing sent to any server. You can tick off chores, close the shop and watch the balances change without giving a single detail.
- Is anything I do here saved?
- It isn't saved anywhere. Reload the page and the example starts over. If you want what you enter to stay —and for everyone else to see it— that's creating your home, which is free and doesn't ask for a card either.
- Are the numbers real?
- Yes. The expense splitting and the who-owes-whom calculation use exactly the same functions as the app, over whole cents: splitting 84.37 three ways gives 28.13 + 28.12 + 28.12, without losing a cent along the way.
- Is this everything homeify does?
- No. The demo shows the five most-used screens —summary, chores, shopping, pantry and expenses— but the product also has the calendar, notes, documents with expiry dates, the weekly menu, bookings for shared things, subscriptions, and alerts by email and push.
