Yes. Changes reach everyone else immediately, without reloading. It's built for exactly the case of two people adding things from different places.

Can I put a price on each item?

Not yet: the receipt total is what's recorded, which is what's needed to split the cost. Per-line prices are on the list of things to do, but we'll only build it if the module gets used enough to justify the friction of typing in every price.

Does it work offline, in the supermarket?

You need a connection to see and tick off the list. If you lose signal the app tells you instead of going blank. Adding things offline is on the list of improvements, but it isn't there yet.

What one person adds appears for another without reloading anything. It can be added from the kitchen the moment something runs out, which is when it actually gets written down.

Ticking it off does three things

The shop is closed, the items go into the pantry with their quantities, and the receipt total becomes an expense split between whoever it's for. In one step and one operation.

What runs out comes back to the list on its own

If you keep the pantry, anything that drops below the minimum you set reappears without anybody remembering to add it.
