Creator programme terms

Last updated: July 2026

1. What it is

The creator programme grants a full homeify account, at no cost and with no expiry date, to people who are going to use the product and talk about it. The account is granted by named invitation: it is tied to the email address it was sent to and is activated by signing in with that account.

These terms are in addition to the terms of service and the privacy policy, which continue to apply. Where anything conflicts, this page governs for whatever affects the programme.

2. What it includes

Every module in the product, with no limit on homes, people, chores, notes, lists or history, and whatever features get added while the account stays active. No payment method needs to be entered, neither on activation nor afterwards.

3. What it doesn't include: document storage

Document storage does have a figure, and it's the only one. The reason is simple and we would rather say it: every other limit is rows in a database, and this one is megabytes on a disk that get paid for every month. The allowance is well above that of the most complete paid plan and is more than enough for a household's normal use.

That figure may be adjusted over time, up or down, depending on what it costs to run the service. If we ever had to lower it, we would give notice beforehand with enough time to download or reorganise whatever is stored. Nothing will ever be deleted without warning.

4. Reasonable use

The account is for the household of whoever receives it. Specifically, you may not:

  • Resell it, transfer it, rent it out, or share access as though it were a service of your own.
  • Use it to store content unrelated to a household: backups for third parties, a company's files, or other people's material without their permission.
  • Send unsolicited mail from the service, or use invitations to reach people who aren't expecting them.
  • Automate access, scrape data, or generate load far beyond what a household does (bulk requests, continuous uploads, accounts created in chains).
  • Publish on behalf of homeify, present yourself as part of the team, or imply a commercial agreement that doesn't exist.

5. What we expect, and what we don't

Nothing mandatory. There is no number of posts to hit, no deadline, and no prior approval of what you write. Nor do we ask you to speak well of it: if the product doesn't convince you, what's useful to us is knowing that.

What we do ask is honesty with the people reading you: if you mention homeify, say that you have an account that was given to you. Beyond being the right thing to do, disclosing a benefit received in exchange —even a non-monetary one— is generally required by advertising and unfair-competition rules wherever you publish.

6. Withdrawal

The account may be withdrawn if section 4 is breached, if it is used for anything unlawful, or if the use puts the service at risk for everyone else. Except in serious or urgent cases, we will give notice by email beforehand and allow a reasonable period to put it right or to take your data with you.

If it is withdrawn, the account is not deleted: it moves to the free plan. Anything beyond its limits can no longer be added to, but no content is removed without warning, and export stays available for as long as needed to retrieve it.

You can also give it up at any time by writing to us: there is no tie-in, because there is no contract to break.

7. Changes to the programme

We may close the programme to new invitations whenever we want. Accounts already granted stay active: closing the door isn't throwing out whoever is already inside. If these terms change materially, we will give notice by email to anyone holding a programme account.

8. Contact

Any questions about the programme, to [email protected].
